I have been calling myself an Artist for about 20 years. At 53 years young I have developed my own unique style of painting. My favorite medium is oils, but I also love pin and ink as you can see. I seem to come from a family of creativity as most of the people close to me have their own talent for creating things. I feel as if I am just being born at this time into a new world of art by bringing it to the public. I hope to compliment the interior of your home with a elegant touch of detail that will make your guest stop and wonder, Where you got it from and what else is available.
My studies as an artist happened by chance in my life when I meet an amazing man who is truely a master and praised by many art collectors world wide. Mr. Omar De'leon. Fetured here you will see his great works have been honored on the postage stamps for his country. http://www.vclifeandstyle.com/omardleon.htm. I will always be blessed by the time I spent on this earth with such a great artist. Approximately three years I studied and watched him paint. He acknowledged me as a poet and an Earthling whos spirit has traveled through many centuries of life. He believed that the spirit goes on forever and only the flesh returns to the same earth from which it is made. I lost touch with him in late the1990's I can only pray that our paths will cross again while he is still on this great planet.
It is said that wisdom comes with age. I now know that to be the most incredible thing about making it to the 50's. Many of my friends who have already past from our lifes carry with them a memory of you. just as they leave you with the same. Art to me is a memory of ones self and a timeless way to say I want you to remember the moment we shared here. Art connects the creation of one person to the people who recieve it. Forever after the art has left your hands you will one day find yourself conversing about that painting or that sculpture you had once and who gave it to you. Like the energy that gives life to all things it will always be there long after the artist has past away.
